Lindsey Garner

Administrative Support Coordinator

My path to the Leonhard Center:

I began working in the Leonhard Center in September 2007 after earning my bachelor’s degree from Penn State. This position allowed me to gain financial, human resources, and other administrative skills. Leaving the Center to acquire additional experience and obtain a master’s degree in human resources and employment relations, I later returned and was eventually promoted to administrative support coordinator. In my current position, I support both the Leonhard Center and the Office of Education and Graduate Professional Programs. My main responsibility includes managing financial accounts to ensure proper spending and accurate budget projecting.

My areas of interest/expertise:

  • Budget administration
  • Human resources
  • Mentoring others to develop skills on Penn State financial systems
  • Learning to play guitar
