Minkyung Lee

Graduate Research Assistant

My journey to the Leonhard Center:

I started working in the Leonhard Center as a graduate research assistant from this summer, 2022. Prior to the Leonhard Center, I worked as a graduate research assistant in the online learning design team for 4 years after starting my phd program (Learning Design and Technology in the Department of Learning and Performance Systems) in 2018.  My research interests are in the effective ways to form discussion groups for the deep level of learning and the influence of external concept structures on an individual’s knowledge structures.

Minkyung is passionate about:

  • Asynchronous interaction analysis using social networks and discourse
  • Individual's knowledge structure changes in reading comprehension
